The 48" handicap stencil is a must-have addition to any contractor’s collection, as it is one of the largest handicap stencils available that can fit in most spaces. It is ADA compliant and is typically used to fill up a designated parking stall. Its great height can be easily viewed from a great distance, which is why it can also be used in stadiums and other large-scale areas. The measurements and specifications of the stencil comply with industry standards and meet all regulations. When painted, the stencil has a width of 42" and a height of 48". This larger size is easily readable by oncoming traffic, pedestrians, or passersby. Drivers will be able to easily see a parking space that is marked by this handicap stencil. The material itself measures 48" wide by 54" high, adding several inches of space on each side to allow for overspray. The stencil is printed on a single sheet, making it easy for application, cleanup, and storage.
For a range of durability and flexibility, decide which material grade your stencil will be made out of. Each stencil lays flat out of the box and can be reused as many times as the grade allows. For long-time use, try the 0.080" ALU or the 1/8" LDPE PRO-Grade, which allow you to reuse the same stencils thousands of time without any wear or tear. The ALU comes with a thermoplastic aluminum for special projects to make it quite indestructible. For something on the lighter side, the 1/16" LDPE and the 0.30" HIPS are thin materials that offer a quality stencil to be used once or twice. These are cost effective options which can ensure accuracy as they lay flat.
