The 18" FIRE stencil is a must-have addition to any professional striper’s or contractor’s collection, as it is useful for a variety of parking lot projects. This versatile stencil can be used to designate a fire lane or a parking space that is reserved for fire personnel. It can be matched with the standard “LANE" sign to indicate where drivers cannot park. It can also be paired with “EXIT", “EXTINGUISHER", and more for added direction and clarity. The measurements and specifications of this stencil comply with industry standards and are designed for use in Federally approved areas. When painted, the stencil measures a width of 45" and a height of 18". The material itself measures 51" in width by 24" in height, adding several inches of space on each side to allow for overspray. The stencil is printed on a single sheet, making it easy to apply, easy to clean, and easy to store.
There are four material grade options to choose from for the make of your stencil. The .080 ALU is the most durable and most rigid grade. It is an indestructible 5052 aluminum that lasts forever. This stencil grade can also withstand thermoplastic striping. The ?" PRO-Grade LDPE is another durable option, adding longevity and affordability. It can last up to 10 years and undergo thousands of reuses before ever showing any signs of wear. This is the most recommended grade by industry professionals as it lays flat out of the box and can stay still during up to 3000psi of spray painting power. The 1/16" LDPE is the counterpart to the PRO-Grade, but with half the thickness. This adds flexibility for a custom or light-duty project. The thinnest grade available is the .030" HIPS, an ultra flexible material that lays flat for a one-time or unique fit.
