The 18" BUS stencil is on the larger side of industry standards and is a must-have addition to any contractor’s or striper’s collection. It is big enough to be seen by buses as they approach a parking space. It can be used in parking lots, garages, roadways, lanes, and driveways with heavy bus traffic. It is easily used alone, or it can be paired with other industry standard signs that include “LANE", “ONLY", “PARKING", and much more. This stencil is manufactured in the USA and offers a warranty that guarantees the product to be free of any impediments or defects.
The measurements and specifications of this stencil meet all industry standards and are designed for use in larger parking spaces and lanes with oncoming traffic. When painted, the stencil measures 40" in width and 18" in height for added visibility. The material itself measures 46" wide by 24" in height, giving several inches of space on each side of the stencil to allow for overspray. The stencil is printed on a single sheet for easy use and application.
There are four different material grade options to choose from for the make of this stencil. The thickest material available is the .080 ALU, a rigid 5052 aluminum that lasts forever. This is best for heavy-duty projects and thermoplastic extruding. The next thickest material grade is the ?" LDPE, which is named PRO-Grade due to its longevity and durability. It is recommended by most as the industry standard, and can last up to ten years. For something thinner, consider the 1/16" LDPE. This is the counterpart to the PRO-Grade, but with half the thickness. It is good for light-duty projects. The thinnest material available is the .030" HIPS, a standard PVC material that offers ultra flexibility for a custom or one-time fit.
