The 12" STOP stencil is one of the most commonly used stencils in the industry, and therefore is a must-have addition to any large or small collection. Contractors and stripers will find this stencil useful for a variety of different public projects and construction investments. Typically, this stencil is used on bike paths, walkways, exits, and construction sites to mark where a pedestrian or cyclist can safely stop. It also is visible to oncoming traffic, giving drivers a warning about an upcoming stop. It can also be paired with other industry standard stencils such as “BIKE", “BUS", and “AHEAD" for added direction. When painted, the stencil measures 38" wide by 12" in height, with each letter giving a stroke width of 2". Choose between four material grade options for the make of your stencil. The thickest grade available is the .080 ALU, a rigid 5052 aluminum that lasts forever. This indestructible material is good for heavy-duty projects and can withstand thermoplastic extruding. The ?" PRO-Grade LDPE is the next thickest material, and is the most recommended grade in the industry. It offers durability and affordability as it lasts for several years and can withstand thousands of uses without showing signs of wear or tear. The 1/16" LDPE is the counterpart to the PRO-Grade, but with half the thickness. This flexible and durable material is good for light-duty projects. The thinnest grade available is the 1/32" LDPE, an ultra thin stencil that lays flat for a custom or one-time job.
