The stencil measures 40" in width by 12" in height when painted, with a stroke width of 2" between the letters for added clarity. This industry standard size makes it easily readable by oncoming traffic or drivers, and the bold letters stand out brightly against the pavement. The material itself measures 46" wide by 18" high, giving several inches of space on each side to allow for overspray.
Choose from four different material grade options for the make of your stencil. For longevity and durability, the .080 ALU is a cost-effective option. This is the most durable grade in the industry, lasting forever and withstanding even the heaviest of jobs. It can also be used for preformed thermoplastic striping and will never wear or break. The ?" PRO-Grade LDPE is another durable option, offering longevity and affordability for any standard striper. This is the most commonly used material for this type of stencil, as it can typically last up to a decade and withstand thousands of uses without wearing or tearing. The 1/16" LDPE is the counterpart to the PRO-Grade, but with half the thickness for added flexibility. This thinner material is good for custom or infrequent jobs. For something ultra-thin, the .030" HIPS is available. This industry standard PVC grade lays flat out of the box for a one-time use.
