The 12" LEFT stencil is a common and useful stencil in the industry, making an invaluable addition to any serious contractor’s collection. It is most used for indicating directions on a lane, in a parking garage, or in any publicly accessible area. It can be used alone or combined with other industry standard stencils such as “EXIT", “TURN", “LANE", “ONLY", and more. This stencil is also often used in combination with a standard turn arrow or directional arrow to give drivers and oncoming traffic a better idea of what directions lie ahead. There are four material grade options available for the make of this stencil. The thickest and most durable option is the .080 ALU, which is an indestructible aluminum. This rigid 5052 aluminum will last forever, and can withstand thermoplastic extruding. The next thickest material is the ?" PRO-Grade LDPE, which is an industry standard. This is the most commonly used material for this type of stencil and offers up to a decade of use and thousands of reuses without showing signs of wear or tear. The 1/16" LDPE is the counterpart to the PRO-Grade, offering just as much durability with half the thickness. This is good for custom or light-duty projects. The .030" HIPS is the thinnest option available, offering a flexible fit for one-time uses.
The measurements and specifications of this stencil meet all industry requirements and are designed to fit in all publicly accessible parking lots and roadways. When painted, the stencil itself measures 36" wide by 12" high, giving plenty of readability. The material measures 42" wide by 18" high, giving several inches of space on each side to allow for overspray. The word has a stroke width of 2" for added boldness.
