The 12" BIKE stencil is a useful stencil to add to any contractor’s or striper’s collection. It is a small to average size for industry standards, and therefore is perfect for designating bike lanes, walkways, special parking spots and more. It can easily be used alone or paired with other industry standard stencils such as “LANE", “AHEAD", “NO", and “TRAFFIC". The stencil can match to any pavement and is typically used in a lane or on a path where bikers and pedestrians can easily see it. The stencil is manufactured in the USA and offers a warranty that guarantees that it will be delivered without any impediments or defects.
There are four material grade options available for this stencil. The .080 ALU will last forever, and is the best choice for the most heavy and industry sized projects. The 5052 aluminum is indestructible and can withstand thermoplastic extruding. For something durable and affordable, the ?" PRO-Grade LDPE is the most recommended choice. It is commonly used in the industry for this type of stencil, and offers long-lasting use. It can be reused thousands of times over several years without ever wearing out. The 1/16" LDPE is just as durable as its PRO-Grade counterpart, but with half the thickness. It is more flexible for a custom or light-duty job. The thinnest grade available is the .030" HIPS, which is a thin PVC material that lays flat for one-time or infrequent uses.
The measurements and specifications of the stencil comply with industry standards and can be used in any designated bike lane or path. It meets all Federal requirements for use and can be easily painted in publicly accessible areas. When printed, the stencil measures 32" in width and 12" in height. Each letter has a stroke width of 2" for added visibility and clarity. The material itself measures 38" wide by 18" high, adding several inches of space on each side to allow for overspray.
