Paint
Every line painting job has one thing in common: Paint! There are two types of paint:
Both have roughly the same coverage rates. The only difference is Alkyd is widely considered more durable therefore is slightly more expensive. However, this is a commonly held belief but in reality Latex is just as durable.
Paint volume varies in gallons depending on the size of your line striping job.
You will get 1750 linear ft. of a four inch wide strip, per 5 gallon pail of paint. This is equivalent to 50 standard parking stalls. In other words, for every gallon of paint you can paint 10 standard parking stalls.
